It?s free. We think that recruitment classifieds are a commodity online so we do not charge for them. Furthermore, we do not want to add yet another barrier to companies looking to recruit senior staff. That?s why we keep the site free. I am not in the UK, what can you offer me?

Our job ads are mostly from UK recruiters. If you have the right to work in the UK, don?t hesitate to reply. Please note that all recruitment questions will be dealt with the employer, not with us (we just advertise for them). We are starting to promote Centurenet abroad so we hope that we will have more employers and job seekers from other countries soon.

How do you make money?

What does Centurenet means?

It?s a play on words where we combined ?centenarian? (we all aspire to live till a hundred years old), ?venture? and ?net? for network as we aim to connect job seekers and employers. It seemed like a good idea when we first thought of it?

I am looking for a job, can you find me one?

We don?t provide jobs per se. We only display job ads from companies, a bit like classifieds in a newspaper. We invite you to check out our website often for new job postings. In addition, if you agree to be contacted by us via email, we will send the odd email when we have more jobs coming in.

I applied to a job but the position is no longer open.

We rely on our employers to keep their jobs up to date. If you apply to a job ad that has expired, please report it to us and we will delete it. We have suspended some employers? accounts in the past for not fulfilling their duties (such as keeping ads up-to-date) and will continue to do so.

I have been asked to pay some money when I applied for a job. What should I do?

As a general rule, you should be paid for a job, not the reverse. We do our best to filter out any dubious ads but some could sneak in below our radar. If you see any job ad you feel does not look genuine, please report it to us and we will investigate. We have suspended some employers? accounts in the past and will continue to do so.

Do I have to be over 50s to use your services?

Of course not, we invite all job seekers to use our services, regardless of their age. We are an age positive service!
